At DB Arch Studio we believe that the architectural design should serve the people in first place and create a better living and social environment. Our design philosophy is emphasizing on the simplicity, the logic, and the functionality. We take in deep consideration sustainable and green design principles in our projects because we believe that this is the right way of the future environment’s development.

The Studio is founded in 2005 by Dimitar Battchiev, registered architect, combining the experience of 16-year architectural practice in USA and Bulgaria with a vast portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, town planning and interior design projects.

The Studio offers high quality services in the field of the design: starting from consulting and feasibility studies on the investment intent; going through “napkin sketches” of initial ideas; passing through a preliminary design taking into consideration client’s ideas and requirements; helping the client to imagine how the building would look in real by producing photo-realistic visualizations; developing accurate working drawings and Construction documentation; coordinating the project with all consultants and engineers; wide range consulting.

We offer complete design services: architecture / mechanical / HVAC/ electrical /plumbing / landscape design, survey, cost estimate, working with high professional consultants. Our professional background and architectural practice in USA help us handling and developing projects for foreign investors and architects, and adapting foreign projects (including from imperial to metric units) as “architects of record” to the requirements of the local laws.We have extensive knowledge of USA and Bulgarian building codes and laws, and long-term experience in implementing them into the design practice.
